You May Be Struggling With

Your mind may feel like it’s constantly searching for certainty. You replay conversations, question your decisions, seek reassurance, or analyze your thoughts and feelings trying to find an answer that finally feels certain. You may recognize that the cycle isn’t helping, but still feel pulled back into checking, analyzing, avoiding, or asking “what if?” For some people, OCD shows up strongly in relationships. You may find yourself repeatedly wondering, “Do I really love them?” “Are we right for each other?” or “What if I’m making the wrong choice?” You might analyze your attraction, compatibility, feelings, or your partner’s behavior—only to find that reassurance never seems to last.

Who We Help

Many of the people we work with are teens and adults who may appear high-functioning on the outside but spend a lot of time internally questioning, analyzing, and seeking certainty. They may be students, professionals, parents, or partners who find themselves stuck in intrusive thoughts and “what ifs” about their relationships, decisions, health, identity, or other things that matter deeply to them. Often, they know the cycle of checking, reassurance seeking, or overthinking isn’t helping—they just aren’t sure how to stop it.

How We Help

Therapy can help you better understand the cycle between intrusive thoughts, anxiety, and compulsive responses. Using Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), CBT-based interventions, psychoeducation, and structured exercises, we help clients practice responding differently to intrusive thoughts and becoming more comfortable with uncertainty. The goal isn’t to eliminate every uncomfortable thought or guarantee certainty. It’s to help you spend less time analyzing, checking, or seeking reassurance so that OCD has less influence over the way you live and the decisions you make.
